Step 1. We’re going to remove the old windshield wipers. You just want to basically lift the arm up here, there’s a little tab on the inside, what you want to do is lift up on that tab and push down. And as you see, windshield wiper comes out.
Step 2. Next, we already got the new one out of the package, as you’ll notice its two different sizes for this particular one; it’s 18 on one side and 24 on the other. So what we’ll be doing is using the 18 for this side. We’re going to repeat the process just in the reverse.
At the inside of this one you’ll see a little U-shape mechanism, what you want to do is drop that inside the windshield wiper and click. Wait for a snap, do a double check and voila, it’s that simple. And there’s your windshield wiper on that particular side. So what we’ll do is go ahead and move to the other side here then we’ll repeat the process. How to change windshield wipers continue below.
Step 3. I’m going to go ahead and lift up, we’ll find that tab that’s on the inside again, we’re going to slide away, and there you go. And what we’ve done is basically complete a windshield wiper change in less than 5 minutes.
Step 4. As you’ll notice this one is a little longer this is the 24 inch side. We’re going to repeat the same process; use the hook, drop it in, take it out make sure it’s safe because you don’t want this coming out while you’re using your windshield wipers.
And we’re done!
